A Healthy Mouth Is An Inexpensive Mouth
If you take all of the necessary steps to ensure a healthy mouth, your wallet will thank you. Be sure that you are brushing and flossing twice a day. Avoid too many sugary snacks, and eat plenty of foods that will help your mouth stay healthy, such as fruits, vegetables and dairy products.
Drink plenty of water, and avoid caffeine and other beverages that stain your teeth. Also, avoid opening things with your mouth, such as bottles or cans. Make regular trips to see us in our office.
If you come and visit us regularly, we will be able to catch any problems you are having in your mouth quickly, and fix them. For example, if we find a cavity, he or she can fill it right away for a minimal cost to you. If you leave a cavity untreated, it could continue to grow, and result in tooth loss, an infected tooth that needs a root canal, implants or bridgework. It is far better to take care of a problem quickly than to wait until it gets worse.
If you have questions about your oral health, give us a call, and let us make an appointment for you to talk to one of our dental professionals about the importance of dental care. We'd love to hear from you.
